Liz is adept at quickly understanding client needs, identifying and aligning with strategy and delivering for the client. Liz leads client teams at Tunheim and is also brought in as a specialist to support client teams. Her clients have included United States Golf Association, Ingersoll Rand and its brands Trane and Thermo King, Target, Fresenius, International Assisted Reproduction Center and many more.
Prior to joining Tunheim in 2012, Liz led social media strategy and execution at Spyder Trap Online Marketing, where clients included Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, UnitedHealth Group and its subsidiaries Optum Health and UnitedHealthcare, and more.
Before focusing on digital and social media marketing, Liz focused on experiential marketing and promotions. Liz was in event marketing for Best Buy where she focused on product launches, sponsorship activation and localizing brand marketing efforts. Liz has a particular focus and understanding of the entertainment industry – having supported music at Best Buy, leading publicity for the record label 50 Entertainment in Minneapolis, and managing production and licensing for Destination X Television in Los Angeles.
Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications from the University of Minnesota’s School of Journalism. As a new mom, Liz has stepped away from many of the industry groups she was deeply involved in but continues to be engaged in Page Up, a membership group for emerging communications leaders of the Arthur W. Page Society. She loves spending her free time with her husband, daughter and golden retriever. She also loves to be a student of the world — traveling and spending a significant amount of time using digital media.
Once a very dedicated singer, Liz performed in the Minnesota Opera Company’s “Tosca.”
