Chief Marketing Officer

As Chief Marketing Officer, Liz is responsible for Tunheim’s external positioning. With a breadth of experience working with numerous consumer, B2B and nonprofit organizations, Liz combines communications, marketing and digital expertise to strategically position the firm. Liz is adept at quickly understanding client needs, and identifying and aligning with strategy to deliver for clients. She also oversees the digital team, ensuring exceptional work and competency.

Liz is a member of Page Up, an exclusive professional organization of the Arthur W. Page Society for emerging communications leaders. She also serves on the marketing committee for IPREX, Tunheim's global independent agency network. She serves on the board of COMPAS, an arts education non-profit dedicated to “Making Creators.” Liz is also a Commissioner on the City of Bloomington’s Creative Placemaking Commission.

Much of Liz’s career has focused on the intersection where communications and experience collide. Prior to joining Tunheim, Liz led social media strategy at Spyder Trap, a digital marketing firm, where clients included UnitedHealth Group and its subsidiaries Optum Health and UnitedHealthcare, Maurices, Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, and more. Before focusing on digital and social media marketing, Liz spent a number of years in experiential marketing at Best Buy, collaborating with many of the world’s best brands as she focused on product launches, sponsorship activation and localizing brand marketing efforts. Liz started her career in entertainment publicity in Los Angeles and Minneapolis.

Once a very dedicated singer, Liz performed with the Minnesota Opera Company in “Tosca.”
