Emily has extensive strategic consulting experience working for both the public and private sectors. Before working for Tunheim, she was a contract lobbyist for a variety of Fortune 500 companies. Additionally, Emily served as the legislative liaison for the Minnesota Department of Health and worked in corporate public affairs departments in both St. Paul, Minnesota and Washington, D.C.
As a consultant with Tunheim, Emily has overseen the strategic planning and execution of communications and community outreach campaigns. She has provided counsel to a variety of clients, including the Minnesota Twins, UnitedHealth Group, the Margaret A. Cargill Foundation, United Health Foundation, Ingersoll Rand, Xcel Energy, International Multifoods, and the Minnesota Private College Council.
Emily is currently a member of the board of directors of the Healdsburg Education Foundation, and an elected representative of the Healdsburg Charter School governing board. Previously, Emily served on the board of the Minnesota Women’s Political Council.
