This Veteran’s Day, team Tunheim is honoring the people in our lives who have honorable served or are currently serving in our military.

Lou Ann Olson salutes her brother, Jon Bravinder, Deputy Wing Chaplin for Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, Goldsboro, NC, and her father, Jon Bravinder, Petroleum Oil & Lubricants Technician in the Air Force.

Pat Milan salutes his niece, Lt. Commander Bridget Gies, USN Retired who flew countless missions over Iraq and Afghanistan and today is circling the globe as a FedEx pilot.

Sheila Green salutes her son Peter Gelsthorpe who is a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy, serving on the Guided Missile Destroyer, USS JAMES E. WILLIAMS, DDG 95.  Peter and his shipmates completed an extended deployment in the Middle East this year and are currently on another tour of duty.

We salute Frank J. Riley Jr., an IT professional who works with our team for his service as an E-4 Specialist with the Texas National Guard from 1989-1997. Every member of his father’s side of the family has at least done one tour of enlistment in the armed forces.

Debbie Estes salutes her husband who served 22 years in the US Air Force and nine years at the White House in White House Communications.

Sandi Scott salute’s her brother, Dave Emmons who served in the army in Karlsruhe, Germany from 1981-1986.

Lani Jordan is honoring all veterans and active duty today, especially my two favorites – career U.S. Coast Guard Engineman First Class James Jordan (shown here in 1958 at the Lorain, Ohio, Coast Guard station on Lake Erie) and Dr. Manivald Harm, U.S. Army lieutenant and Korean War medical officer.
