Liz Sheets is Chief Growth Officer and Integrator at Tunheim, where she leads the firm’s marketing and business development strategy, oversees the full sales pipeline and helps connect Tunheim’s external positioning, client growth, internal operations and long-term business strategy.

Liz brings deep experience across communications, marketing, digital strategy and business development, with work spanning consumer, B2B, government, nonprofit and mission-driven organizations. She is known for quickly understanding client needs, identifying strategic solutions and helping teams move work forward with clarity, focus and purpose.

Since joining Tunheim, Liz has played a central role in shaping the firm’s growth, marketing and digital strategy. She previously served as Chief Marketing Officer and as a senior consultant focused on digital and social media strategy, helping clients be understood by the stakeholders most critical to their success. Her expertise includes brand marketing, public relations, social media strategy, content creation, campaign management, analytics, paid search, search engine optimization, web development and digital measurement.

Before joining Tunheim, Liz led social media strategy at Spyder Trap and worked in event and experiential marketing at Best Buy, where she focused on product launches, sponsorship activation, local marketing and cross-functional brand initiatives. Earlier in her career, she worked in entertainment publicity, media relations, promotions and marketing communications for corporate, nonprofit and arts organizations.

Liz is active in civic and professional leadership. She is past president of the COMPAS Board of Directors, a member of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal Women’s Leadership Council and a former member of the Forbes Communications Council and Page Up. She was named a 2020 40 Under 40 honoree.

Liz studied strategic communications, journalism, communications, public relations and advertising at the University of Minnesota and earned a Master of Arts in Leadership from Augsburg College.
