Patrick Milan has broad experience across the consumer, B2B, government and non-profit sectors. He serves as the firm's chief officer but his focus is really on creative destruction. Pat is constantly transforming Tunheim’s services to meet the needs of clients navigating complex change. He is one of the leaders of Tunheim’s management consulting practice.
Prior to Tunheim, Milan was a managing partner at Fallon Worldwide. He was a co-leader in developing the retail marketing practice where teams developed breakthrough work for clients including Starbucks, BMW, United Airlines, Lee Jeans and Nordstrom.
Pat has developed marketing sponsorship and partnership platforms for leading brands and several sports entities including the National Football League, the PGA TOUR’s Byron Nelson Championship and the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association. Pat’s leadership on a consulting project is credited as a major factor in helping the AT&T Cotton Bowl land the prestigious role hosting college football’s first national playoff championship game in January 2015.
His background includes serving as a senior aide to Minnesota Attorney General Hubert Humphrey III. After his stint as a bureaucrat, Pat managed the consumer marketing efforts for the pay-per-view sports and premium movie channel tiers of the DirecTV. Prior to finding a “real job”, Pat spent 15 years in front of a TV camera covering news. He became one of the youngest journalists ever to win an Emmy award for coverage of the Florida riots in 1979.
An avid cyclist, Pat has made journeys from Minneapolis to Chicago, across the state of Oregon and participates in an annual trek to Green Bay for the Packer’s home opener. When he’s not working or cycling, Pat escapes to Key West where his wife makes him paint the picket fence surrounding their favorite pet project, a historic bed and breakfast called the Key Lime Inn.
