Linnea Moat

A firm believer that words matter and that the way you tell a story often matters more than the story itself, Linnea helps clients tell their stories genuinely and effectively.

Linnea is primarily involved in the firm’s public affairs practice, helping affordable housing, workforce development, and union clients reach their target audiences and bring awareness to their policy positions through coalition building, key message development, and campaign strategy.

As a former Tunheim intern, Linnea worked with business-to-business, consumer and professional sports clients. After completing her internship with Tunheim, Linnea went on to serve as communications advisor to Senator Amy Klobuchar. In that role, Linnea planned press events that garnered both local and national media coverage and brought public attention to important constituent issues.

Thanks to her experience working for Minnesota’s senior Senator, Linnea brings to Tunheim a unique ability to craft effective messages that resonate with both the media and the public, and the expertise to turn complex policy positions into easy-to-understand narratives.

Linnea is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, where she received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Communication Studies. A Minnesota sports fanatic and political junkie, Linnea spends her time away from the office following the Minnesota Twins religiously and reading the latest political news.

Linnea live-tweeted play-by-play updates from the Twins’ official twitter account during the 2015 baseball season.
