Patrick J. Milan
Executive Vice President, Brand Strategy & Creative Director
If you’re looking for Pat, you’ll probably find him at the intersection of brand strategy and creativity – or on a bicycle. With broad marketing experience across both the consumer and B2B categories, Pat leads Tunheim Partners’ brand marketing practice and serves as the creative director for the agency.
As a managing partner at Fallon Worldwide, Pat created the retail marketing practice where he led teams that developed breakthrough work for consumer brands including Starbucks, BMW, United Airlines, Lee Jeans, International Trucks and Nordstrom.
Prior to joining Tunheim Partners, Pat developed marketing and sponsorship platforms for leading brands and many sports entities, including the National Football League, The Cotton Bowl Athletic Association and the PGA Tour’s Byron Nelson Championship.
Pat’s broad background includes serving as a senior aide to Minnesota Attorney General Hubert Humphrey, III. After his stint as a bureaucrat, Pat managed the consumer marketing efforts for the pay-per-view and movie tiers for DirecTV. Prior to finding a real job, he spent 15 years in front of a television camera covering news. Pat became one of the youngest people ever to win an Emmy award for coverage of the Florida riots in 1979.
An avid cyclist, Pat has made journeys from Minneapolis to Chicago, across the state of Oregon, as well as an annual cycling trek to Green Bay for the Packers’ home opener. When he’s not riding or working, Pat escapes to Key West where his wife makes him paint the picket fence surrounding their favorite pet project, a historic bed and breakfast called the Key Lime Inn.
