MARIO SANTRIZOS
Mario Santrizos, a co-founder of Tunheim Santrizos Company (the public relations
agency that preceded Tunheim Partners), died of cancer in 1993. Though he was
with the agency only its first three years, his impact on the culture and values
of the organization were profound and are still very much in evidence today. A
long-time Honeywell corporate executive before returning to agency life, he set
very high standards for professionalism. A highly visual and creative person, he
instilled a respect for the power of identity. A talented and insightful
counselor in his own right, Mario saw his primary role as creating an
environment where other talented people could reach their potential. A graduate
of the University of Minnesota, he would be proud to be part of supporting
future leaders and managers in the public relations profession.
