
The Tunheim Santrizos Scholarship was created to further the company's
ongoing commitment to raising the standards of the industry. Through a
grant program with the University of Minnesota School of Journalism &
Mass Communications, a $1,000 scholarship is awarded each semester to a
graduate student concentrating in public relations coursework who
exhibits aptitude in strategic communications and business knowledge.
The program was established in memory of the agency's late co-founder,
Mario Santrizos. One of his greatest passions was the development of
public relations talent.
To be eligible for the Tunheim Santrizos Scholarship, a student must:
- Have demonstrated an interest in public relations and declared
an emphasis in public relations
- Be a full-time graduate student accepted in the school of
Journalism & Mass Communications for at least the semester preceding
the award
- Be in good academic standing
- Demonstrate potential in the field of public relations
- Have a strategic orientation to the practice of public relations
- Demonstrate aptitude in advisory services and relationship
management
