Blois never played baseball but he prides himself on being able to hit the curveball, or the knuckler. Clients call him when change or challenge is on the horizon or on their doorstep. Blois provides insights and strategy to companies, trade associations and entrepreneurs on how to best manage and grow their brand’s mindshare to key audiences. He is seen a leading innovator in media and content strategies in all channels of media and marketing.

Every day Blois reads and monitors dozens of media outlets to ensure clients are kept abreast of the most current news and events that affect their business. He also provides agency leadership in public affairs, crisis communication and online strategy.

Prior to joining Tunheim, Blois founded and led New School Communications for nine years. He has also spent time managing political campaigns and is the cofounder of MN-Politics.com and the former co-publisher of “Politics In Minnesota.”

Blois is a daily political voice on WCCO Radio and his analysis has been featured on CNN, MSNBC, and National Public Radio, and in The New York Times, Newsweek, Newsweek-Asia and Agence Press France. He is also a regular contributor to “Almanac” and “At Issue.”

A Minnesota native, Blois’ love of current affairs was born during his job as a newspaper carrier for the St. Paul Pioneer Press and Dispatch. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, where he studied political science and journalism.
