Adam Axvig Joins Tunheim’s Bipartisan Public Affairs Team
Just in time for a special session, Tunheim has added Adam Axvig to its bipartisan public affairs team.
A veteran of political campaigns and several legislative sessions, Adam brings strategic communications experience with a Republican lens to Tunheim’s growing client list. Adam’s strengths include statewide coalition building and grassroots organizing as well as navigating the complex network of relationships at the Minnesota State Capitol.
He served as communications staff for U.S. Senator Norm Coleman’s re-election bid in 2008 and held leadership positions in the Minnesota Senate, as well as campaign leadership with the Minnesota Senate Republican Caucus campaigns in 2010 and 2012.
Most recently, Adam served as communications director at the Minnesota AgriGrowth Council, a trade organization advocating for Minnesota’s vast food and agriculture industry.
Adam attended the University of Minnesota for political science and lives in Northeast Minneapolis with his wife and daughter. He is a strong advocate for his community and proudly serves on the board of the Sheridan Neighborhood Organization in Northeast Minneapolis.
